Our Grand Opening

We at A Healing Touch extend a warm welcome to our web viewers! We are sincerely thankful for your interest shown by signing up to receive our very first newsletter. The goal of this letter will be to introduce you to the mission statementof our company and the many talented people who will be creating healthy products and hosting many informative and fun workshops.

We are excited to host our Grand Opening week, starting on October 30th through November 4th. Our brand new shop is conveniently located at 74 Main Street in the beautiful shore town of Manasquan, New Jersey. Our store ambiance has been created with great care to provide a cozy, creative and informative setting! Come to have fun, to find respite through recreation, or learn something new!

Our Grand Opening Celebrations will showcase many fun and informative workshops with prizes and free samples of our natural and organic products. Please stop in. There will be something for all ages and genders!

There is a wonderful expression that may sound familiar... "the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step." Lets take that step together now... we are on a journey with you... our valued consumer to produce the very best products, services, and classes! Let us begin with an introduction of each of our valued team members and the varied types of classes, products and services that will be offered for recreation, and well-being.

Meet Our Staff

Our Staff hosts a team of highly skilled, dedicated professionals who will assist you with the purchase of a ready made persoal care product, or help you create a unique masterpiece from scratch. Let us start with an introduction to company founder, Judy Ryan. Judy is a licenced physical therapist who has over 20 years of experience specializing in the treatment of wounds, ulcers, scar tissue and burns. She has received advanced clinical training through a nursing program in medical aromatherapy. Her passion to create organic and natural products arose from the necessity of treating recovering cancer patients. She has coupled her non carcinogenic products with lymphatic drainage to create optimal tissue recovery. Over seven years, she has created a line of personal care products that promote health and are free of known carcinogens. Judy is very excited to open a store in Manasquan, as she spent many memorable summers at what she calls, "hard working, friendly, close knit-family oriented shore town." She absultely loves and respects Manasquan's community and is honored to become a member of the town's landscape!

Janine Vollmann, Bella Zimmermann and Terri Bingham are our store managers, with many years of experience in the beauty and retail/spa industry. They are excited to meet and and assist special interest groups to schedule individual or group classes, or to create special orders for baskets, baby and wedding showers. Please call with any special requests for parties, classes or gift packages. Our knowledgable and friendly staff look forward to assisting you!

Our Yoga, Core, Strengh and Power Fitness Programs

Alexann Rose is a nationally certified trainer who has been involved in sports and fitness her whole life. The sports and fitness program is progressive. Optimum performance for athletes or anyone else consists of a comprehensive program including assessment of weakness, correction of deficiencies, establishment of a strong foundation and symmetrical strengthening. The main objective is to help individuals be pain free and achieve maximum functionality.

Stabilization programs will develop core and joint stabilization. Strength programs will expand upon the stabilization program and incorporate more advanced strengthening. Power programs focus on achieving maximum strength and coordination.

Our Jewelry and Creative Classes

Individual and group jewelry classes will include making fusion beads from stained glass, and creating jewelry using sea glass, crystal beads and different metals, will be to available to all groups. Lydia Santoro has been creating beautiful handcrafted jewelry using only the finest materials for over 15 years. As a gifted artisan, she can create custom jewelry for special groups, or on an individual basis to suit any taste.

Additional creative classes available for all ages. Hand blown glass bottles will be featured for perfume class. Stained Glass classes for beginners to intermediate groups will be offered throughout the fall and winter for children to adults.
