Natural & Organic Massage & Body Care Menu
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
2 Hours (Recommended for Maximum Effect) | $180
The strokes applied in manual lymph drainage encourage the movement of the lymphatic fluids in order to assist in ridding the body of toxins, inflammation and cellular debris. It can increase the lymph’s natural flow to a speed of movement that is up to 10x faster. This is a gentle, rhythmic technique that cleanses the connective tissue, enhances the activity of the immune system, reduces pain and lowers the activity of the sympathetic nervous system. Research in the Journal of Physical Therapy Science reveals that just one lymph massage slashed cortisol levels by 44% while increasing the flow of oxygen and nutrient rich blood to the brain to cut fatigue by up to 80% .
Relaxation & Stress Relief - M Technique
30 minutes | $45 • 60 minutes | $90 • 75 minutes | $120 • 90 minutes | $135
The M technique is a gentle and soothing technique used to bring rapid and prolonged relaxation. It is a set series of stroking movements performed in a sequence at a slow, rhythmic speed. Pressure is not altered and remains light throughout.
Myofascial Release Massage
30 minutes | $45 • 60 minutes | $90 • 75 minutes | $120 • 90 minutes | $135
Myofascial release applies sustained pressure and movement into the fascial system in order to eliminate fascial restrictions and break up scar tissue. Fascial tension can prevent deeper tissue work from being fully effective. If fascial restriction is present it will be treated first to access the area of pain in deeper tissue layers. It's often performed without oils on dry skin to help grip the fascia just beneath the skin and around the underlying superficial muscles. Stretching is used to access and treat deeper fascial layers and muscle groups. Opening up fascial tissue can encourage blood flow, waste removal, hydration and more range of motion in surrounding musculature.
Deep Tissue Massage
30 minutes | $45 • 60 minutes | $90 • 75 minutes | $120 • 90 minutes | $135
A deep tissue massage session begins with a thorough evaluation and assessment to treat chronic pain within deeper layered muscle. Hands-on Swedish techniques warm and relax the muscle’s tissue, easing access to the deeper muscle layers and allowing the practitioner to locate any adhesions or scar tissue. Myofascial Release, stretching, or heat may be used to further access deeper layers and prevent soreness in the deep muscle manipulation. Specific customized techniques are then applied to the affected deep tissue, followed by cleansing, relaxation strokes to encourage blood flow, encourage healing and relax the muscles. Improved range of motion, reduced inflammation, faster recovery and lowered risk of injury are all benefits of regular deep tissue application. This can reduce current pain and prevent future chronic pain.
Pregnancy (Prenatal) Massage
30 minutes | $45 • 60 minutes | $90 • 75 minutes | $120 • 90 minutes | $135
This soothing treatment is specially tailored for the aches and pains pregnancy can present with awareness to the safety of mom and baby. Stress relieving Swedish techniques are applied with Mom-to-be positioned with support and comfort. Relaxation and ease of muscle tension leave mom in a state of relaxation. Lymphatic techniques can be used to reduce swelling, inflammation, and the presence of toxins. Treatments may be received after the 1st trimester up until the due date and shortly after giving birth.
Hot Stone and Hot Towel Massage
30 minutes | $45 • 60 minutes | $90 • 75 minutes | $120 • 90 minutes | $135
Stones of all shapes and sizes, ranging in temperature from 120-130 degrees, are used during hot stone massage therapy to transfer heat into deeper layers of muscle tissue. This helps warm the tissue for ease of access into its layers, amplifying the effects of applied techniques and reducing after-massage soreness from deep work. Hot towels provide moist heat that sinks right through your skin into the muscle and even organs, promoting tissue softening and deep relaxation. Recipients feel a spiritual connection to earth energy while the stones encourage the exchange of blood and lymph and provide comforting relaxation.
